NextCue
Bills, ID renewals, subscriptions, rent, birthdays — one simple, private, ad-free reminder app for everything that isn't medicine. Templates instead of blank forms, smart renewal alerts, and optional Google Drive backup. Now available in eight languages, including Bengali and Hindi.
Never forget
anything important
Built for the things people actually forget — bills, renewals, subscriptions, and dates that only come around once a year.
89 Ready-Made Templates
Instead of a blank form, pick from 89 presets across eight buckets — Bills, Renewals, Personal Events, Subscriptions, Home & Lifestyle, Maintenance, Health, and Routines & Habits. Tap one, choose a date, done. No typing required — and every template is translated into all eight supported languages.
Today View
Your default screen groups everything as Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Later, and Expired — matching how people actually think about what needs doing, instead of a flat list you have to scroll and scan.
Pause Without Deleting
Taking a break from a bill, subscription, or routine? Pause any single cue, or long-press the + button to pause everything at once. Paused cues stay right where they are in every tab, clearly marked — not deleted, not lost track of.
Smart Renewal Reminders
For passports, licences, and insurance, set the expiry date once. NextCue automatically schedules a series of lead-time alerts before it — 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 1 week out — instead of a blunt yearly repeat that arrives too late to act on. Each lead time is a tappable chip you can adjust to fit how much warning you actually need.
Alarms That Actually Fire
Full-screen alerts with Done and Snooze, built on the same production-hardened alarm engine as Medicine & Health Reminder. Exact-time scheduling, automatic snooze if unattended, and automatic restore after your phone restarts.
Speaks the Cue Aloud
Optional voice announcement reads the reminder title out loud when an alarm fires — repeats up to three times so it's hard to miss even hands-free. Off by default; turn it on in Settings.
Flexible Recurrence
One-time, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — plus swipe-to-done and swipe-to-snooze right from the list, each with an Undo option if you swipe by mistake.
History & Undo
Every Done, Snooze, and Missed action is logged in a dedicated History tab — and any entry can be restored with a single tap if you marked something by mistake.
Optional Google Drive Backup
Sign in with your own Google account to back up your cues and history to your personal Drive. Restore on a new phone, back up automatically each week, or delete the backup any time. Entirely optional — nothing is uploaded unless you sign in.
Reminder Reliability Panel
Live status checks for notifications, exact alarms, battery optimization, and full-screen alerts — each with a one-tap fix. Includes guidance for manufacturer battery managers that silently delay alarms.
Tones & Silent Mode
Six alarm tones to choose from — or use your phone's own alarm sound — plus adjustable snooze duration and a fully silent mode for vibration-only reminders when you need quiet.
Eight Languages, Your Choice
Arabic, Bengali, English, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish and Urdu — with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. NextCue follows your phone's language automatically, or you can pick a different one yourself in Settings › App Language, independently of your phone's system language.
On Android 10 with MIUI 12, the in-app picker has no effect — an OEM limitation, not a bug. Set your phone's own language instead on those devices; the in-app picker works normally on Android 13+ and everywhere else.
Share Your List
Send your full reminder list via WhatsApp, SMS, or email in one tap — useful for keeping a spouse or family member in the loop on shared household bills.
Custom Intervals & Repeat Until
Set a cue to repeat every X minutes, hours, or days — not just daily/weekly/monthly — with an optional active window and an end date so it doesn't ring forever. Weekdays and Weekends are now one-tap presets too, using whichever days you've set as your weekend.
Auto-Snooze During Calls
An alarm due mid-call — SIM or WhatsApp/VoIP — waits until you hang up instead of ringing over you. Opt-in, and off by default.
Optional Google
Drive backup
Switch phones, lose a phone, or have one stolen — your cues don't have to go with it.
NextCue works completely offline and needs no account. But if you want your reminders to survive a phone change, you can sign in with your own Google account and back them up to your own Google Drive — under a visible folder called NextCue Backups, where you can see, download, or delete the file yourself at any time.
How backup handles your data →- Completely optional — off until you sign in
- Backs up to your own Drive, never to a developer server
- Restore everything on a new phone in seconds
- Optional automatic weekly backup
- Optional backup reminder if you prefer doing it manually
- Delete your backup from Drive any time, in-app
- NextCue can only see the one file it created — nothing else in your Drive
No ads.
No tracking. No account.
NextCue was built on the same principle as its companion app: what you track is your business. There are no advertising SDKs, no analytics, and no developer-owned servers storing anything about you.
Read Full Privacy Policy →- All data stored locally on device by default
- No account required to use the app
- Zero advertisements, zero ad SDKs
- No analytics or tracking of any kind
- No data ever sold or shared with third parties
- No camera, location, contacts, or SMS permissions

Permissions explained
Every permission this app requests — and exactly why it is needed.
NextCue does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call log, location, or photo/storage permissions.
